Summary. Arterial hypertension (AH) and diabetes mellitus (DM) remains one of the most common diseases in the world. 40 patients with AH and DM participated in a complex clinical examination with complaints, anamnesis of disease and life, survey data, results of additional instrumental and laboratory methods. Average daily SBP and DBP were normalized within 30 days of treatment. The glucose level in blood decreased by 58.94% (p<005).The level of C-peptide in patients of the main group decreased by 36.48% (p<0.05), in the control group – by 20.49% (p<0.05) during treatment. Glycosylated hemoglobin decreased by 58.94% (p <0.05) in the main group and by 36.16% in patients of the control group (p<0.05).
Potassium and magnesium gluconate are suitable for admission for patients with hypertension and concomitant diabetes. They are effective addition to the standard scheme of hypertension and diabetes treatment but also are safe for long-termed admission in general and polyclinical practice.
